Is India Accepting Sex as Normal?
This question in itself carries two contradictory perspectives. Speaking from a next-gen individual’s perspective, then yes, India is heading in this direction. But as a society, we have failed to revolutionize it because of some social stigma or ignorance.
Today, many intellectuals are taking on the importance of sex education in this generation. Millennials are also speaking on sex issues on various forums, but a significant number of the Indian population still feels shy to talk about sex issues openly.
But why somebody has to take permission before having pleasure? As a society, we have taken this as a basic human need. Fantasizing about the opposite sex or the same sex is not a crime but routine human nature.
One more thing, men and women can exercise equal rights regarding sex. Everyone can watch porn, masturbate, and buy a condom from a medical store. Yes, morals exist in our society, and we must follow them. But imposing morals on everything is not a good idea.
Unsurprisingly, India is the second most populated nation in the world despite the fact that we don’t want to talk about sex openly. Some figures have also suggested that the sale of sex toys like dolls, vibrators, even handcuffs is an all-time high. Yes, people are buying it and having pleasure the way they want to. As per the figures published by a leading sex magazine in India, India’s adult toy market stands on $228 million and is expected to grow 34 % by the end of 2019.
Many individuals have admitted that they watch porn daily. Even porn websites have published figures showing that Indians are one of the front runners in consuming porn. But still, we don’t want to admit anything.
This is stupidity, which sometimes leads many men to some sex issues. And when they don’t want to talk about such cases, it further creates problems in life. Many patients who come to Dr. Manu Rajput and Dr. Kanu Rajput of Sidri International Skin Hair & Sexology Clinic have admitted that they feel shy to talk about their sexual illnesses. As per their clinical experience, a good number of men affected with Erectile Dysfunction and Premature Ejaculation don’t know what medical condition they are having.
Another reason this ignorance of sex issues is dangerous is that patients with sex issues are falling into the trap of someone who wants to misguide them on their insecurities. Some even fool patients by giving them instant sex power medicines, which worsen their condition.
Patients don’t know where to go, and moneymakers take their lack of proper knowledge for granted. So it is the responsibility of patients to be open about their problems and find the right men’s health expert to treat them.
Men’s health experts in Delhi, like Dr. Manu Rajput & Dr. Kanu Rajput, are why many patients see themselves out of their sex issues.
Their vision and knowledge contribute a small but significant part in making India open and more conversational about sex topics or issues.
And the answer to the question of- Is India take sex as usual? Yes, it is taking slow, but it is taking for sure.
