Erection Problem or Erectile dysfunction is the condition in which a person, interested in sexual activity, does not able to achieve and maintain an erection. The penis of the person is loose even after stimulation and is not able to penetrate the vagina of the female partner. Previously it was commonly found in elderly, but today, due to significant lifestyle changes, hectic schedule and increased stress, the condition is also frequently seen in young people. It is a common condition, which is proved by the sales and popularity of various sexual medicine, both in allopathic as well as ayurvedic therapy. It is a complex condition characterized by the presence of both physical as well as psychological problems. The condition is widespread but due to embarrassment, the patient does not visit the doctor. To add to this misery, the patient shifts towards self-medication and end up worsening the condition.
